Chelmsford

Chelmsford, a town of England, and county town of Essex, is situated at the junction of the Chelmer and the Cam. It is a well-built town, and chief among its buildings are the parish church, grammar school (founded by Edward VI.), shire hall, and corn exchange. Its trade is mainly in agricultural produce.
