Cratinus

Cratinus, a Greek comic poet (519-422 B.C.), contemporary of Aristophanes. He wrote some twenty-one comedies, some of which took prizes in competition; his Bottle (Putine), produced 433, in the poet's ninety-sixth year, taking the first prize, while the Clouds of Aristophanes took the third.
