Doves Daw

Dove's Daw of rotation of winds is that in north latitudes the tendency of the wind is to veer round in the same way as the sun's diurnal motion - from north, through north-east, east, south-east, and south, back to north through the other points of the compass. The contrary direction prevails in south latitudes.
