Edenhall

Edenhall, in Cumberland, 4 miles N.E. of Penrith, is the ancient seat of the Musgraves, and is chiefly noted as possessing a glass goblet said to have come from the fairies, and called the Luck of Edenhall, since the well-being of the family is supposed to depend upon its safe-keeping. Uhland has commemorated it in his ballad Da Gluck von, Edenhall.
