Egyptian Vulture

Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnoptcrns), called also Pharaoh's Chicken or Hen, a vulture, about 30 inches long, found in the S. of Europe, ranging into Asia and the N. of Africa, and abundant in Egypt. The general plumage is white, the wings black, and the bare part of the face yellow. It is a very foul feeder and valued as a scavenger.
