Foyers

Foyers, Falls of, are two cataracts in Invernessshire on the river Foyers, 2-1/2 miles from the spot where it falls into Loch Ness. The upper fall is about 30 feet high, and the lower about 90, and the glen, through which the falls pass, has wild and romantic scenery. Old Edie Ochiltree speaks of the tide round Halket Head running like the Falls of Foyers.
