Gaduns

Gaduns (Jaduns), an Afghan tribe, occupying the southern slopes of the Mahaban mountains and parts of the Hazara district within the British frontier of Peshawar. Though long settled amongst the Jusafzaes, they are said to have been originally a branch of the Kakars. Two main divisions: Salar, with three septs - Matkhwa, Uta, Suliman; Mansur, also three septs - Khadr, Daolat, Musa. Total population (estimated), 12,000.
