Galloway Mullof

Galloway, Mull of, the southernmost point of Scotland, 23 miles S. of Stranraer, at the end of a peninsula called the Bhinns of Galloway. The promontory, which is a little more than a mile long and about a quarter of a mile broad, is 210 feet high, and has a lighthouse, whose light is visible 23 miles out to sea, and which commands a view of the Isle of Man, the Irish coast, and the Cumbrian mountains.
