Ocellatae

Ocellatae, the small larval Medusae or Jelly-fish, which are the young of the zoophytes known as the Tubularia (q.v.). They are provided with minute eye-specks, whereas the Medusae, which are the larvae of the allied group of the Campanularidae, have auditory sacs and no eye-specks.
