Rade

Ra-de (Roe-deh), a people of Cochin China, north-east of Saigon, quite distinct in physical appearance and speech from all the surrounding Mongoloid aborigines; appear to be of Khmer (Cambojan) stock, and are remarkable for their European features; are skilled weavers, woodcarvers, and potters, and live in large, communal houses like those of the Pueblo Indians of North America, but less substantially constructed.
