Supple-jack, an American name for various climbing and twining shrubs, especially the tendril-bearing species of Paullinia and Cardiospermum, belonging to the order Sapindaceae, in tropical America, and the twining Berchemia volubilis, belonging to the Rhamnaceae, in Virginia.
